SHIP

The ship is where most players invest there money. The ship can be used to take down planets, colonize and Trade. Once the Ship is destroyed without and escape-pod you are destroyed. All of your devices you buy are put on your ship e.g.

Fighters,Torpedoes, EWD, Warp editors, Genius Torpedoes, ESCAPE-POD, Armour, Space Beacons, Mine Deflectors, Fuel Scoop, Last ship seen device, goods, ore, organics and energy.

Ship Component What The Component Does
Hull Stores all good, ore, organics and Colonists
Engine This enables you to real space using less turns
Power This stores all of your energy
Computer This Stores all of your fighters
Sensors Allows you to Scan planets
Armour is a form of defence when attacking planets
Sheilds Defends you when attacking
Beam Takes out fighters when attacking
Torpedoes Stores all your torpedoes
Cloak Makes harder for enemies to scan and can cloak past secD
Average Tech Level This determines size of your ship

Ship size is determined by average level
0. if you have below Average level 8 then you cannot be hit by mines and stay in SOL
1. next ship size is above level 8 and you might want to buy EWD cos you cannot stay in Federation sectors
2. next is above level 12 and EWD is still effective
3. Above level 17 makes EWD much less effective so you should have a safe place to park your ship
4. Level 20 Average ship is the biggest but not the best because much harder to defend with, especially since the new SOFA codes and WC versions.
